Sad News!!

“Pink Panther” creator Blake Edwards died at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California on Wednesday night, suffering complications from pneumonia.  He was 88.

Edwards had been in the hospital for two weeks and had knee problems either. He had been “pretty much confined to a wheelchair for the last year-and-a-half or two” as he told a source.

Edwards was born William Blake Crump in Tulsa, Oklahoma, beginning his career as an actor and screenwriter

His wife, actress Julie Andrews, and other family members were by his bedside at his time of death..
